What is Metrology?
Metrology is the science of measurements, methods and tools to ensure their consistency, and ways to achieve the required accuracy.
Metrology is expressed as a science that describes various measurements (linear dimensions, mass, capacity, etc.) and the ratios between coins used in different countries.
Metrology relies on highly accurate physical experiments, uses achievements from physics, chemistry, and other natural sciences, and defines specific laws and rules enabling the quantitative expression of the properties of material world objects.
