A New Laboratory Calibration Standard Introduced in Uzbekistan

In May 2025, the Metrology Scientific Center implemented new calibration procedures in line with international standards. This system complies with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and ensures high-precision measurements in a modern laboratory environment. The new methods are particularly applied in industrial and scientific fields where high accuracy is essential. According to experts, this approach strengthens interlaboratory measurement consistency and expands the participation of Uzbek laboratories in international accreditation processes. Additionally, based on this standard, new training modules have been developed, and professional development courses have been launched for metrologists currently working in the field.
